For decades i have not been able to find this   . My mom found it . So with no further ado .

 

 mix

1 cup flour

1 cup oats

1 cup corn meal

2 tsp sugar

2 tsp salt

enough water to make it the consistency of biscuit dough. I use  the liquid from canned corn instead of water  .

 Make hamburger like patties and drop them   individually in boiling water for three minutes . 

Remove . After  they cool , cut into little squares . 

Refrigerate , when not in use .

 

I imagine these could be rolled into little balls and boiled . 

 

We use to slay carp on the Mississippi with this.

 

 

I've always just used canned corn, they eat it as good as anything I've found (other than mulberries when they're dropping).

Corn and mullberries are good . I usually fish corn side by side with dough balls . Like in bass fishing some days they prefer one bait over the other.
