Koppers Live Target.  They're twice the price of the pad crashers, but they seem to me like they're softer.  I bend the hooks up and get a better (still not great) hook-up ratio.  That's definitely the angler not the frog though.  The River2Sea frog has the best name (phat mat daddy or something like that), and so I bought one, but haven't caught a fish yet on it.  And it has to be wrung out every cast.

I feel like some frogs are a little hard. For example, Spro. The body seems hard to collapse and expose the hooks. 

 

I despise Livetarget products, but their frog has been doing very well for me this year. I’ve been hooking up on almost every bite. 

another vote for pad crasher, and if you need a change toadrunner. i have a bunch in diff colors no need for anything else

Im not sure why. They just out perform all of the other brands. 

I've always heard that if you catch your PB using a frog, then you are a real frogman.

Reviving this post.  I finally got on the frog train yesterday having caught a 5 #er on my 3rd cast yesterday I am hooked!

 

Whats the best frog when fishing in the really scummy moss that blankets the area with small holes here and there?  I was using a Lunkerhunt frog but the legs were not the best.
