Dt6 factory colors collection nib

Featured Replies

rps20190501_142315.jpg.bcb41d3e6b492f62284fea6ae4a53d3c.jpgEvery so often, I make a post looking for any factory colors of Rapalas dt6s nib, (I'm assuming I have all colors released in the US, if anyone knows of some I've missed state side or over seas, please feel free to point them out), and to show off my collection! This is said post, enjoy.

Finally, another Rapala collector nut! Have you heard of Rapala Nation? I use to hang out on that forum, but it has started to go dead if it hasn't already. I've been collecting pre-VMC lures for years, mainly Shad Raps, Fat Raps, DD 90s, Husky 13s (balsa), INOX, and the F9s-F18s. Although I have a few, I never got around to collecting the DT lures, but I've been thinking of putting together a collection of pre-VMC DT10s and go on from there. If I come across any special DT6s, I'll let you know. My pride and joy is this 1954, F11 star foil. (the hooks have been cleaned since this pic was taken)

Very nice! I've been on Rapala Nation, but not for years, I've gotten some of the lures I have from a guy in Germany through RN, I've started a few collections, was going to do husky jerks but fizzled out, I'm a real fan of the dt6 in our area of Wisconsin, it's been a couple years since they released any new colors, but I'm sure some countries have colors I've never heard of, these 2 are exclusive to S.Africa from what I can tell, took me a lot of trust and time to get these and I probably paid more than I should have, but everything worked out.

I figure if these are exclusive to them they see them as common, how many other countries have colors I've never seen? Right? Lolrps20190501_192506.thumb.jpg.9b1cb9401cc42e54f6a0272f28049cc7.jpg

Very, very nice. I'm a Rapala junkie as well. I fish a lot of mine though. I never collected a complete series like that. Very impressive.

I've got a couple dozen of my favorite colors to fish with, searching for new colors gives me a reason to look at fishing lures pretty much non stop throughout the winter! Lol

I can't tell what color a couple are because of glare in the picture. I didn't see the craw color with the purple back. Do you have one? I just bought 3 of them off of E Bay.  I always seem to have good luck with purple.

So do I for sure. From day one quite a few have been very productive. But there are a couple in the Ike Series that I find even more productive.

You probably mean purple olive craw POCW, I have that one, a personal favorite of mine as well!
