I saw a duck lure on a shelf at Dicks, feathers and all, and got a chuckle.  I thought who would buy such a dumb thing.  Then I saw this.  

 

 

Never saw this happen in real life but I guess that is how nature is....

 

 

 

I've got the Savage Gear Fruck and Suicide Duck, and I've caught fish on both of them. Caught quite  a few on the Fruck last year.

Savage gear make about every animal in north america as a lure, dumb yes, but some work. The ducks works great on largies here in quebec and also a fine choice for muskies. Wait until you see the water bird and at lures by them.....
