i found a 12 ft v-hull boat and trailer with battery and trolling motor for a good price. i was wondering if my 14 ft jon boat(flat bottom) would fit on that trailer? i would like to use the trailer and trolling motor for my boat and sell this one.

    Many Jon boat manufactures buy trailers that fit more than one boat length so it would be very possible.  It would require readjusting the boards or even lengthen them and readjusting where your wench is attached.

    Most have bunks and they can be adjusted for a John. You may have to change the bumper on the winch stand. A V bottom boat would require a different shaped bumper in most situations.

    Can you post photos? We would have a better idea what is involved if we could see the trailer.
