Any of you guys used this line..? I always used Diawa Samurai in the past, but this line looks interesting. Pro and or Cons..

Assuming you're talking about the grey Smackdown. I have some 10lb on my Ned rig rod and really like it. It's very thin and cast a mile. Haven't had any wind knots with it and it ties to the leader easily.

Yes, the smackdown is what I was asking about. Thanks for the reply.

I've been using the 50lb for flipping/pitching around flooded willows and bushes, and yanking 4-pounders out of them without any problems.  Casts well, holds up well, good knot strength.

What are your concerns?

Castability, if that's a word..lol Also are you using straight braid, or do you have a leader to be more stealthy..?

Thanks for the reply.

I never use leaders.  The knots are just another point of failure, and they don't go through the guides well (I use mini guides).

The line casts as well as co-poly.  Really smooth without any issues for me.  I also use it for frog fishing too.

Great, thanks. Think I'll give it a try.
