Ranger Customer Service

Featured Replies

I was hoping anyone who has dealt with Ranger customer service could share their experience.

My coworker discovered an 11 inch crack on the weld of his hull. 2018 Ranger RT198P. He is the original owner. Does Ranger typically have a fast turnaround? Hoping to hear positive information so he doesn't need to stress. The boat was purchased from Cabelas.

The answer to this question lies at the Cabelas location where he takes it for repair. Doesn’t matter who the manufacturer is, the speed and quality of any service repair always depends on who is actually doing the work.

I have used Ranger's Customer Service multiple times albeit for parts and not repair.  It is top notch.  Going to the dealer is the first step.  It will be up to Cabela's as to whether they authorize you to take it to an approved repair shop or if it needs to go back to Ranger for the repair.  I do not think Cabela's has the tools and welders to do the repair.  One way or the other I would bet a month's pay that it gets taken care of per the warranty.

I had a few air bubbles in the gel coat of my fiberglass Ranger.

I took it to the local Kansas City Kansas Cabelas. they took pictures and sent it to Ranger.

2 weeks later my boat was in a fiberglass repair shop.

Cabelas and Ranger where top notch on getting things going.

another cracked aluminum boat. yeah the dealer should help you. my pt20 has over 10' of crack right now. waiting to hear back. 13 days and counting. I am sure ranger is more on top of their stuff than crestliner.

My Triton VT17 cracked at the bottom of the transom too. I’ll be a fiberglass guy from now on..

I love my rivets.
