Cheap place to buy the wire keepers for jigs....50.00 per 1000 or less, can only find Do It brands online. Or make your own ???

    I wouldn't mess around trying to DIY something that costs about a nickel each.  My time is worth a bit more to me than that.  I have found them on eBay, but near that price point that you cite.

    Barlows Tackle; $7.80 per 100, $6.80 per 100 for 1000 qty , Do-It molds wire coil forms.

    I don’t use a lot of them so I make my own using the same 20 ga. galvanized wire that I use to make screw locks.
