My Other Love

Featured Replies

Some of you may remember a thread I made about my other, and arguably first, love.

Well a buddy of mine, who is way more tech saavy than I, made a nice vid for me from footage from my last show this past month.

Came in pretty lean; around 5-5.5% (I'm in Royal Blue)

I have my last of the year in Sept. I plan on coming in a little heavier/fuller for that one.

Any bodybuilders out there?

I lift and it’s a bodybuilding routine, focused on functional strength. But lean for me is about triple the BF and more realistically 5-7x the BF, because down that lean the measurements are off, I doubt 5 or 5.5 is accurate you guys are closer to 2-3%

Congratulations on achieving body fat under 6%, it is no easy task. I have been under 6% body fat before and I had the ''bodybuilder look'' but it was more a byproduct of my training than me specifically training like a bodybuilder. You lift big weights, do lots of running at a good pace, eat healthy and your body has no choice but to adapt to whatever you are doing. I maintain a symmetrical body where my neck, arms, and calves are more or less the same diameter. Lower body matches up with upper body since I make sure to keep my weight training and calisthenics workouts balanced. I focus more on cardiovascular fitness these days with some calisthenics and moderate weight lifting.

Whenever I see the documentary on the Rocky movies they always say how Sylvester Stallone was at like 2% BF. He wasn’t as lean as anyone on that stage.

BTW, congrats on the pro card!
