Just bought a Daiwa Fuego 2500LT reel and Tatula XT 7’ Medium Fast rod as a combo on eBay. It was only a few bucks more than the reel alone that I was shopping for. Usually the rod on combos are crap. I see talk here about Tatula rods but not the XT line.

    It’s good, same blank just cheaper components than the original

    The Tatula has a different blank than the XT. Tatula has a SVF blank and XT is has a HVF blank.

    I was actually using the rod on my baitcaster. No issues with casting distance and the sensitivity is actually really good using fluoro.
