I am new to the 6th Sense lures as well but I know the brand but never fished with them at all. I recently purchased if you didn't see my thread "6th Sense Fishing Crankbaits" 6th Sense Fishing Lures in this forum topic area. I bought all of them in one auction listing they also came with some jigs with skirts. The crankbaits are in different sizes and colors.

From what I've seen and gathered that the hottest colors to purchase are the following. Black Magic, Bluegill Spawn, Backwater Bluegill, Boiled Crawfish, Radiation Crawfish, Sexified Chartreuse Shad, Shad Sense. These sizes are in different sizes and colors you may know or may not know.

The colors are beautiful, the hooks are razor sharp got to be careful with them so you don't hurt yourself while putting them on your fishing line or moving them around from tackle, storage containers or etc.

Remember always the brighter colors for dark/muddy water and darker colors for clear water when fishing for more chances to get a nice bass of any size and weight. The 50x crush seems like is the best choice to go with as far as crankbaits or get something in size from 6th Sense that your comfortable on throwing in to the water and hope to catch a fish of any kind.

I know Academy Sports sales 6th Sense I was looking at them at my local Academy Sports store here where I live and they didn't have much some in the smaller, medium size and the bigger size left. I was speaking to another customer that was looking at them as well he liked the colors and bought a couple of them. He asked me how did I know about them I told him Matt Luna Fishing told me about them and I studied the crankbaits "true story" what they are and how they work and etc before I bought them.

I throw the 1.5 squarebill a lot in the Gizzard shad color. The Curve 55, which is kind of a wiggle wart deal, I throw in the craw colors. The Provoke stick bait I like in the Ozark Juice.

Really comes down to where and how deep you fish.

There is no magic to them other than they come with quality hardware (hooks/split rings) and they have been marketed well.

Get the same baits and color styles you would with any other brand.

Good luck.

North Louisiana.... Go to Toledo Tackle on Oliver Rd in Monroe. Great folks and a ton of tackle that is relevant to the fishing in your area. They don't jack their prices up either.

6th Sense lures are IMO some of the best looking lures on the market! Their paint jobs are 2nd to none (again, my opinion). If I were just starting out with them I'd probably go with the Curve 55 line and from there to the Movement 80x for shallow crakin'.

The Crush 50x is about the equivalent of a 1.5 squarebill, the 100x is like a 2.5.  I have heard red is a good color for Louisiana waters.

The magic is THAT they come with quality hooks..............lol

That is the reason I switched to them from another brand.

I bought some 6th Sense shallow cranks last year and had a bad experience. It was my first and only purchase of their products.  I got a lure with a questionable paint job and customer service never responded to my emails. I eventually returned the defective lure but wrote off the manufacturer after that.  A year or so later I was looking at another 6th Sense lure I bought on that order and just couldn’t deny how good it looked. Long story short, I fished it, liked it, got over my issues.  I just placed an order for a couple of Curve 55’s and Cloud 9’s in the C15 size.  I read a couple of reviews that said the Clouds get to and maintain depth with less pull than other lures.  If that is true it will become my new deep crank.

Also, the price can’t be ignored.  They are very reasonably priced.

The quality of the hooks along with paint, price and action, make if one of the first reach for.  A little nail polish makes colors last longer if you care
