Y'all ever watch an electrician wire a house?

No. 9 Klien's

Don't need no stinking hammer!  ?

Yea what are you using to staple off the wire ? or nail off the boxes lol . Hammer is Definitely a tool an electrician uses. Unless you're going to say said electrician only uses the remodel boxes with the anchors. But you said wire a house... Which is done after the framing.  Regardless, should be stapling off the wire along those runs.

As for the pliers. I have many sets but tend to just use my Leatherman.

Don't know where you live but we haven't "stapled" wire in years!

That would be used in commercial buildings around here but not in residential. Yeah we still staple wire.

I suppose this is a topic for another thread.  That's conduit, we use it in residential anywhere the wire is exposed such as a basement wall or outside the home or when the line is buried.  . Ohio is where I live... And have to staple off all the runs along the joists , trusses, studs .. whatever the case may be pretty sure you should still "strap" or "clamp" that conduit off catt ?

All new house construction gets that type wiring down south. Commercial, Industrial, & Residential construction is booming down if anyone looking to relocate.

Any pliers that I can grab from my tool box, but lately just me, a bag of plastic a few 4/0 ewg hook and cheap multi tool with sharp knife.

I use Manley brand fishing pliers.  They're 7 1/2" long, made from anodized aluminum, and have a side cutter built in that cut braid nicely.

I think they look better the more you use them.

I also keep a curved hemostat and bone cutting pliers in my bag for gut hooked fish, and hooked people, respectively.
