Green pumpkin, the best all around color?

Green pumpkin is probably the worst color for me.  I've wasted so much money on that color due to everyone on the internet saying how great it is, but all it's good for, in my case, is snagging tree branches.

Same for me, that color does nothing but haul water for me, now if it has green with purple such as aarons magic then it works well, but straight  green pumpkin is the least productive color in my waters for myself.

 

Anything thats brownish with purple is  the most dominant for me along with brown and red colors.

    all fish eat smaller fish. a bait fish pattern will never fail. even blue gills in muddy water will be silver in color. a shad pattern will always work. so will a green pumpkin. im convinced color is

That's how it is for me with jigs....brown with purple or brown with red in the skirt works well for me.   Both tend to get paired with a watermelon/red flake trailer.

Yup, Watermelon red flake Yamamoto twin tail grub is my staple jig trailer on a brown jig, work's everywhere for me.
