Going to be nuts on the river the next few days with FLW in town.  Back to smaller water this weekend

Lakes seem to be on the dirty side due to the rain.

Rivers flowing nicely.

Water temperature in the 80's so the bass are just hovering in place or next to cover waiting for a snack to pass by.

Tough fishing. You have to hit all wood you can find with your crankbaits, spinnerbaits, Senkos, and trick worms.

FLW guys may do well. Very interested in how they do this weekend.

Awful lot of dinks going across that stage

Just got my 7'4" Heavy/Fast rod last week and used it in the grass with a jig the other day and got a small guy hiding. The water had been hot but we've had some beautiful cool evenings lately. Hoping the water temps stay down.

Gonna try to go tomorrow and use a swim jig around some cover, along with some cutter worms from strike king.

Hadn't heard of a cutter worm so I wandered over to the SK site and saw that they're new.  Please let us know how those work out.
