when a bass sees a frog all he see is the bottom of the frog which is WHITE like all other fish. so why do we worry about the color of a frog when the bass don't see the top of it with his line of site?

ok , what difference do it make what color? being the fish only see the bottom side of bait, to me it seems like it don't matter what color the top of a bait is. primary thing is the action of the bait. i'am talking about top water baits only, cranks and worms are a different story. keep your lines wet.

Gerald swindle uses heat shrinks on his so it won't get hung up as much makeing them stiffer BUT even tho he trims the bristels won't it make it harder for the fish to bite down and reach the hook ?

I fish resovoirs that ONLY have minnows, bluegills, for food so is the minnow like a shad to them ?

Do you use them in the fall? like on a tex rig

yes but that helps me a lot,some of the bass are 30 ft deep and i was thinking that this the only way i can catch them. max sent i've seen on tv buthaven't used it yet thanks for reply.
