I caught 9 bass AND a crappie off this worm in green pumpkin with red flakes, rigged texas style. This worm has a lot and I mean a lot of tail action when fished just fast enough to move it. i think it was the 7 in worm, 3/8 Tunston bullet, and a 4/0 worm hook.

If I use a straight shank hook with a screw in bullet wt. and a curly tail worm, would the straight shank hook make the worm NOT look natural ? being it's a curly tail ?

we caught about 9 bass all around 1 1/2 - 2 lbs a couple small pikes and 2 real nice crappie. using white swimbaits and crank baits. everything was with in 2 ft of the bank except for the crappie, they were near a beaver hut.

looks like it would have to be fished in open water, not around pads because of exposed hooks.

if the lines are close together,do that mean that it's a sharp drop ? the intervils are 2 ft.
