I got water around 68- 72 clear for about 4 ft. is this a good time to use a jerkbait ?

can i leave reel half of mona and than put on braid ? will i still have good sensitivity of the braid if i'am useing this for a Carolina rig ?

Do you get a lot of line twist using these instead of a swivels when carolina rigging ?

Has anyone used one of these rods? it has more guides than a reg rod, was wondering how line would come thur more eyes.

Do you have to put a swivel on the line to keep down the line twist ?

For the life of me, i cannot see the advantage of this rig. you can do the same thing with a dropshot. OR am i missing something ?

i have heard that mirrow colored glasses are better because they reflect more sun and take away a lot of the glare .

i like his 1.5 crank baits but thats all, he's a rolling billboard for smallmouth. every time you see him on anything it's all smallmouth. i get tired of seeing it he's roland and that senko. i dont dislike him know he's got to promote but can he do MORE lg mouth.!

i beleive that the same bait that works in tx. and fl. works here in va or anywhere else, it all depends on a lot of variables, the cover, structure, time of season, weather, and bait fish in the lake you are fishing. i've seen ppl in Fl. catch Lg.mouth on a bubble gum ( pink ) lol senko and laugh but i caught a lot here on same color while dropshotting. Just my thoughts gl.

what action do you get from this? it just sinks. don"t know how to ask but why the weight?, it just don't do anything. seems to me it would do better weightless that way it would at least shimmy going down instead of like a bullet straight to the bottom
