Best Way to Post Pictures

Featured Replies

What is the best way to post pictures.  If I try and upload from my phone they are too big.  I have been using Imgur and then posting the link.  What is yall's preferred way to post pictures.

I take a screen shot of my pic and frame/edit what I want to post.

Either from my desktop/laptop - or use the built in editing in my phone's/tablet's camera app to crop/resize.

Easiest way I've found to lower the MP'S To make the pic exceptable for this site.

Take the pic on your phone at a slight distance then hit the photo, click edit and crop to enlarge the pic with your fingers...... works every time on Android.

What kind of phone do you have? You can resize photos by clicking on options to choose what size to use when selecting a photo when using an iPhone.

i have android and just don't know what to do after i take pic. new to all this

Let me lead you through it - This is my Galaxy A-51 running Android 13 - but it's been the same since I got the phone and it was running Android 11

After you take the pic, tap on the circled image on the bottom left - that'll lead you to this screen

Tap on the second icon from the left - looks like a pencil - that'll take you here.

Tap on the 3 dots on the far right....that'll take you to

Tap on Resize - and you get this.

Choose your size and hit done - I like 1200x1600 for this - this will get you back here.

You can drag the edges of the frame to crop the pic - then either Save as Copy or just Save.

I do the same as well, except someone on here taught me how to do it with an iphone.  Works just the same.  I pick the largest size that will get me to 1 MB.  Dead simple.

I use Postimage. It's a free hosting site. Well, after a zillion images they might want a fee.  I've uploaded hundreds of images with no fees yet. Just upload, copy link and paste. Done.
