GYCB Senko vs Kut Tail

Featured Replies

Curious about the extent of difference in the action of these two when they are rigged weightless? Either Trig or wacky.

Thanks....Joe

Completely different profile and action.

I fish the Senko exclusively weightless.

The Kut Tail I fish T-rigged and on a Shaky-head.

A cut tail is a modified curl tail worm unsalted standard body diameter, fast tail movement.

Senko is a heavy salted fat body stick bait that sinks with very little action, only a slight waggle.

I use a Senko weightless and a Kut Tail with a 1/16oz bullet weight.  Weightless the Kut-Tail has a more aggressive wiggle then a Senko, but not by much. Even that little bit of weight gets it moving though.

Kut tail is my favorite bait to neko rig. The action of the tail looks like the tail of a baitfish or pan fish trying to eat something off the bottom
