About those "Barbie' and 'Frozen' Kids Fishing Rods

They might be marketed as toys but they really are tiny fishing rods that work, and work quite well. I still have my daughter’s princess rod. She’ll be 20 this year. ?

That’s awesome, I can’t believe the line didn’t snap. I think they only put 4lb on those. Shouldn’t that have taken a long time in a situation like that.

Article said the reel had 50 lb. line. Obviously, daddy did a little modifying. I wouldn't think 50 braid would cast very well on a small spincast.

Hold on to it. My oldest daughter is 36 years old I have her Disney Rod and Reel. I’m sure she’ll want it some day. She knows I have it. Good stuff.
