Here’s why I say big baits are often overrated.

 

i left him on and the next cast something pecked him off in seconds. Switched to match the hatch—nothing.

 

ive seen these guys flip out of the water when the fish are feeding, but this is the first time I ever caught one.

LoL! No!!! I will admit it though, I was using a swivel for easy switching.

Oh you never used chain link before???

Not the greatest for top water.

I would agree with your thoughts on big baits.also noticed your hookpoint looks rolled over.
