Had thought of heading to Mayo Res in Person County, North Carolina this morning but 35* turned me right around and back between the sheets.  35 years ago and it wouldn't have slowed me down but not this morning.  Merry Christmas Everyone and God be with all in there travels to their Family gatherings where ever they may be.

I'm getting to old to fish in my boat in freezing temps. Lol

6 degrees here in Maine this morning but the lake still has no ice on it. It will be 3-4 feet thick in a few weeks though. Then people will drill holes in the ice, stand in the frigid wind with wind chill temps maybe 0 to 20 below, and hope to pull a fish through a hole by a string.

 

I lived on a large lake all my life but never understood the ice fishing thing..... Of course some of them have shacks and fish using little gas heaters,  beer, and bourbon....

Merry Christmas to you....26 here and supposedly warming to low 40's....I got a boat ride and am gone gone gone.....whoooohoooooo.  Although not heading out till after radiation so will be in thirty's  or low forty's....that's better.
