IMX-PRO 904C MBR for lighter flipping and pitching?

Featured Replies

Need one more rod to complete my retirement set ?  So far the advise here is good too.

What are the thoughts on a IMX-PRO 904C MBR for some lighter pitching and flipping duties.  We just don't have the really thick nasty stuff that I fish for a dedicated xtra heavy rod and I've really started to like the MBR tapers.

Thanks once again!

The MBR taper is my favorite of all time. I love the original IMX MBR rods. For what you are describing, a 4 power Loomis  MBR would work great. Also, when you are not pitching you will have totally excellent rod for tons of fishing applications. It's a hell of a jig/T-Rig rod, as well as swim jigs, chatterbaits, and spinner baits when casting.Win/win for you.

For sure. Everyone should own a  4 and 3 power mbr.
