    Yeah, Shimano got my money for 2 of their flagship Met MGL's.

     

    "the Shimano Metanium MGL Casting Reel is in a league of its own."  - Shimano

    "Delivering advanced tournament caliber performance for a range of bass fishing applications" - Shimano

     

    I think I'll wait a year or two and see what they screwed up on the new one. I'm afraid they've gotten a bit too sloppy, or slipshod, or something, but it's not a good way to treat your customers. Did anyone at Shimano actually fish the Met MGL's hard for a year before they put them on the market?

    Alum gears that's what wrong that's it. I'll jus upgrade to brass one day if I need to wont be getting the new one

    Has anyone compared he 2020 mgl with the metanium dc? Which do you prefer?
