Crappie of a different color

Featured Replies

I was painting up a handful of crappies Friday night and played around with something a little different. I think it’s a keeper.

They look great! And those sugar tails look delicious!

Are they suitable for human consumption?

Sissy shad is a solid color. I assume sissy crappie would be as well.

Send me one and I’ll tell you if it is a keeper lol.

Crappies here started coming in shallow now and I’m not sure if I should throw big swimbait for bass or tiny one for crappies.

When the crappie are schooled up at the top of lay downs is when this bait really shines

It sure is purty!  I am sure some big ol bucketmouth will eat it!  If nothing else my wife would make me buy it cause it is pink.  haha
