Dude, koi is a huge money business. A while back I watched a video where a dude that searches out and buys koi for rich people was at a breeding facility in Japan, and they were haggling hundreds of thousands of dollars for some of these fish.

I do have another "story", my first being catching the bullfrog with a frog.

One day fishing the San Joaquin River from the bank I hooked into a striper and then it broke off. About 30 minutes later I caught a striper with a hook just like mine and two inches of line hanging out of its mouth. "Hey buddy, can ya help out a fish here?" I removed both hooks and sent him on his way. Smart fish for finding me that second time ;)

A fish. I don't know how it happened but it was years ago. I've spent all this time trying to recreate the incident but so far.... no luck.

wow that's crazy!

It was a crazy day for sure. One I'll never forget!!! Thinking I'm dragging a human leg in and wondering if it's a murder scene or something.

Today I didn't catch a fish.

I did, however, catch the spinnerbait I lost the other day.

I over casted a dock and hung my Jerkbait only to have a dog race out and ****** it.

My friend was laughing insanely as I yelled GET ME OVER THERE !! as my drag was peeling.

It actually ended well though.

It was a friendly dog which allowed me to headlock him and remove hooks.

Well that counts as a good day in my book!!!

I fished a very urban river, we used to joke that a grandslam was a diaper, a condom and a tampon all on your hook it really was kinda gross and smelly  after a big rainstorm but the trout were huge...

Totally agree. Especially since it broke off ON THE FIRST CAST when I had a braid mishap. I'm about done with that ****.
