I have to say after two tournaments,  I think the 2 pound limit is a great success.  I’ve watched more this year than all of last year combined.  IMO they should just leave it at 2lbs,  regardless of what lake they are fishing.

Yea I think one competitor said in an article somewhere that he caught 15-20 non scoreable bass in a period. Or maybe a day but a lot of small ones either way not being counted

Okeechobee just seems strange to this Ol boy from Tennessee.  There are no hills around the lake!  How do they keep the water from running out?  ?

One thing I’m liking this year about the coverage is some of the drone footage of the guys fishing. When it’s live with them talking about what they’re doing, as well as showing from above just where

Wow, what a great emotional speech by Powroznik. His dad has passed away, and he was fishing the last spot him and his dad got to fish together. Dang... thats heavy...

I wonder how many in the 5-7lb range there were.
I didn’t watch much, but it seemed every time I turned it on somebody caught one.
Sometimes 2 in a row

There were a bunch, several people that got eliminated had a 5 or 6 in their largest fish column

I think this format eliminates some of the 'luck' factor.... You can throw a stick worm and catch 20 fish, and 15 will be 2lb fish, and maybe 5 will be 5lb fish. It's a bit of luck of just what size fish bites the lure. Obviously there are some lures that 'tend' to get bigger bites. I like the 2lb minimum to really get away from a super dink fest. Even for the guys getting lots of 2lb'ers, they have to catch 3 of those fish for ever 1 6lb fish. That's a little more work.

I'll just say this... I don't think ANY format will ever be perfect or meet everyone's style. So we can't expect it to.
