Berkley Warpig Lipless Crank

Featured Replies

Just wondering if the Warpig is better at bouncing off the bottom for the yo-yo style of retrieve or if it has a slower rate of fall and is better for burning over the tops of grass?

It's noseheavy and sinks fast with less flutter on the fall, and it's attitude stays nose down as you crank it or hop it.

The Warpig is great for banging through rocks because of how it comes through the water with the nose down, protecting the hooks and deflecting off rocks. It does work good for bumping along mud and clay bottoms because the nose kicks up puffs of mud like a fleeing craw.

I agree with the others. It's a nose heavy bottom bouncer. It's my lipless of choice for river fishing.
