Zolo Toadface, Enox BMJ

Featured Replies

Anyone using these rods for frogs and have a comment about how they compare? The Enox has the same specs but appears to be a model up in the lineup.

I just bought the Toadface and actually asked ALX the same question. I was told they were very similar but the BMJ was a little more sensitive. ALX is great about answering questions either by phone or by email. Just figured if I was going to be fishing mostly moving baits (and because I have a couple other from the Zolo line) I would stick with the Toadface.

Hope this helps!

I’d say go toadface unless you want the enox to pull double duty for bottom applications as well.

Have toadface that never gets to ride on the boat. Never was a fan at all of any of the ALX rods. Selling them all off. Disappointed in them.

I'd opt for a Shimano, St Croix, G Loomis, Phenix, Megabass, Daiwa instead. My personal opinion.

 Interested in selling to me?

No problem buddy. Have to see shipping. I don't mind at all. Great shape too

I'm sure some people will love the rods, just prefer my others.

Toadface is one of the best and most versatile rods I have.  I have all the major brands, some more expensive and ALX are great rods.
