So I went out fishing today and has a senko on a weedless hook, I caught one small bass but I got more bites but they wouldn’t stay on the hook. But when I use regular hooks I’ve had no problem getting bass to shore... anyone else have issues with weedless hooks?

You have to specify what kind of hook, there are lots of different weedless hooks. 

 

And by regular hook do you mean wide gap worm hook?

Every weedless hook should be accompanied by proper rod and texposed hook.

The correct size hook, rod/reel/line combo, and hookset are all going to play a part in converting bites into caught fish.
