I just started making my own a few years ago...not sure I'm saving money but I really enjoy tweaking colors and also having the stuff to whip up a skirt if I need one quick. Who out there makes there own? Where do you order your supplies? What are some of your favorite tab colors?

Made thousands of them over the years. Black, brown, and green Pumpkin are the main colors for jigs.

Yep, they have most of what you want. Their Website sucks on mobile, so use a computer if you're buying more than one or two things. I also found the variety pack from Jann's Netcraft a great value for getting a pile of random accent colors without having to commit to a bigger order for rarely used colors.

There are also the Facebook fishing yard sales pages.  You can get big lots for 30-40 bucks. Sometime deals on smaller lots from the tackle making guys who just have to much and just want to get rid of them.

There was also somebody selling factory direct from over seas.  Only thing with that is sometimes the skirt tabs have a slight rubber Oder.  To some people that’s a big deal to others it is not

eBay is another good place too look.  Most of the time free shipping.

I have bought from fishingskirts, janns, and lure parts online also. They all really have good stuff. Just have to keep looking untill somthing catches your eye.  These places the skirts don’t have any smell
