Good deals on shirts/hats advertising tackle companies?

Featured Replies

This question didn't exactly fit in the "Tackle" section, but couldn't figure out where else it fit better, so I'm posting here...

Anyone know of any good deals on shirts or hats with fishing logos on them? Either a website that specializes in them, or from individual companies? I've been looking around on the web and so far all I have been able to find is a few individual companies with stuff on sale for full retail, meaning $20+ for t-shirts or hats. I would think that in the interest of getting their logos out there, there have to be companies selling gear for less. I'd much rather throw on a Lew's or Strike King or 6th Sense t-shirt than a Nike or Adidas t-shirt to make a quick run to the store, but the bait monkey strikes enough as it is, and I don't need to be replacing my entire wardrobe at $25 a pop.

May be a complete shot in the dark, just thought I'd give it a try.

Big bite baits has a few hats on sale for 6-9 bucks.

I'd second the option of buying enough to get a shirt if it works out.  I have a couple Tatula HUK shirts that came free when I purchased reels a few years ago.  I probably have 10 or so Tacklewarehouse shirts that are still new in package that I got through purchases with them over the years.

Also if you have large fishing shows, I've gotten a number of free shirts from those over the years from the Fred Hall show in Southern California.  These were just from wandering around and talking to some of the exhibitors.

TW, Abu Garcia and St. Croix usually have something going on. A lot of times the tackle shop will give you a hat or give you that $25.00 Shimano hat for 10 bucks.

I know what you're saying about the hats and shirts but I'd be happy with just a few plastics samples to fish prior to buying. At the show you can get samples generally.

Cue the "Why would anyone pay to advertise for a company that they don't get anything from?" guy.

If you can hold off for a few months, Pradco Lures (parent company of Rebels, Bomber, Bandit, Cotton Cordell, Booyah and even more I can't remember) put tshirts and hats on sale for Black Friday.

I just bought a Rapala red, white and blue logo t-shirt. Seems like it was $20.00, with a portion of the price going to Veterans organizations. After placing the order, I've received two emails offering 20% off on shirts, hats and lures. The online lure prices were around $2.00 cheaper than BPS.

Hope this helps
