I stopped at a place today that has about 20 packs of Wave Tiki Toads for a dollar a pack . He has white , chartreuse and white/chartreuse .I bought 2 packs and they look like they will work really good  . If they work well  I'm buying them all . Have any of you any experience with the Tiki Toad ?

Haven't used them but they're all over Ebay for $6 a pack so sounds like a great deal.

Been trying to get on all morning to tell you they have little to no action. So unless you plan on melting them into something else, they are not worth it in my opinion. I bought a bunch of watermelon red when their site was clearing them out for like $1.50/pack.

I bought a bunch of their soft swimbaits. They have no action whatsoever. However a few other baits were good: tiki-drop, finesse worms, tubes (solid head), craws

Sounds like a good option used as a 'Buzz Toad' as the limited action might help it track true and the profile allow it to stay on top with a slower retrieve. As a trailer on a spinner or chatter bait would be another good application.

I'll find out tomorrow .Thanks for the info . The legs look long and spindly compared to the Ribbett .

I was planning on using them as a buzz toad .

I haven’t been able to figure out why at first the toad runs fine but every time after a few casts it loses its action. It’s like the legs start sticking together or the plastic hardens up in 70-80* water lol. So if it works at first, don’t curse my name!  And if you figure something out like boiling the legs for a few seconds or boiling and separating the legs a bit, def let me know!  Maybe they can be salvaged some way but IMO should be good to go out of the package.
Never used a buzz toad and don’t know what attributes you look for. Always just seen horny toad type legs on them

I used one yesterday . Got A hit , set the hook and the bass got off . The lure pulled off the spring keeper so it didnt even last one fish . They are really soft . I didnt have a toad bite going so thats all the action I had with one . It did buzz all right , a little less noisy than the Ribbet , I'll try them again next trip .

. Used them yesterday . The first one worked ok , not as noisy as the Ribbet but I caught three bass on it . Second one  didnt work at all ,    the legs kept  crossing . I will go ahead and use the rest and just discard the bad ones . If most of them work I will buy more for just a dollar a pack   but if half of them are junk , no more .
