Anybody ever thrown these for bass? Found 1 today and it looks similar to a size 7 shad rap..except it's plastic.

Nope, they're walleye baits, don't bother. If you bought it already though, just send it to me and I'll let my kids fish with it or something.

I just got about 20 of them in a few weeks ago in preparation for winter time fishing. They were more productive than a regular shad rap for me last year by a long shot.

They’re good baits for the price. Though when i went on my week long walleye trip earlier this year, the Shad raps massively outperformed them. I think it was more of a case of the fish preferring the silent Shad rap. The flicker shads have a nice tight action and the stock hooks are great too.

I haven't tried the shallow version yet.

But i do like the deep version.

I'll throw it side by side with the shad rap to see what the fish want.

That's the exact color I found...looks brand new... No nicks in the paint and the hooks have no tarnish to them. Now I'm excited...hope I find a few more! Found it floating by a beaver dam on my local pond.

They work and for some reason I can cast them farther than a shad rap.  I have to use a spinning rod for my Shad wraps to get any distance.  Flicker Shad I can chuck with my cranking baitcaster.  Wierd that they are the same thing basically.  One is made of wood the other plastic.

The Flicker Shad is even listed as being lighter than the comparative sized Shad Rap too.

I fish mine on spinning gear, but it does cast noticeably better than the similar sized shad raps. Maybe the shorter lip doesn't catch the wind as bad.
