My Roman Made Mothers Are Here

First things first, rod is used to cast the lure that weighs 22 oz a100 yards. Most of these rods are designed with a cork wrap rod black, no reel seat. The reel is clamped over the reel foot directly onto the cork wrapped blank allowing positioning exactly where the anger wants it.

Local tuna and Yellowtail average about 20 lbs, larger fish just take longer to wear down. 10 lb LMB are done fighting after 1 minute or so on XHeavy swimbait rods.

Don't you think casting a 16" / 22 oz swimbait is a bit over kill? You can troll this big swimbait with a XXHeavy 908 rod with ease.

Backlash a hard cast and it's gone! I think the Chaser should have a remote controlled airbag with GPS chip.

Slow trolling is your best option and having the Mother custom painted rainbow trout colors for a follow up lure. The big Chaser looks great and a big striper will eat it, big bass may bump it or follow it, 15 lb+ LMB may eat it, very rare fish today.

Good luck this pre spawn Jan-Feb, hope the DFW plants trouts.

That was the challenge, Finding the mother in rainbow color, this color was my next option. I also got two negotiator in baby bass color, I am not sure what you thinking about those. Ill upload pics when I get them in mail. By the way custom painting can cost how much? and who is the best in business?

I recommend Jason Kordan aka bassjak.  He's painted 8 of my mom's and several of my Hinkles, top notch work.  You're probably looking at around $80-$100 to paint the Chaser.  He's on IG and has an example of a Chaser he recently did.

Good luck
