How deep do you fish them?

target cover or cover lots of water?

do they work in pads and grass, edges, lanes, and weed walls?

any vertical presentations or just chunk and wind?

across or parallel to flats?

what about riprap?

I’ve had good luck with the smaller keitech easy shiners especially for creek smallmouth. I usually give my girlfriend a spinning road with an easy shiner, a fat impact, or a grub and she always catches something

I've been using keitech easy shiner, bass assassin elite shiner, zoom boot tail on a 1/4 oz jig head with a 3/0 hook. All fish on a 7' m/xf slx rod, shimano casitas 7 ratio reel w/ 30lb sufix 832 braid. I super glue the lure to the jig head. I'm catching them in all sizes. Been catching stripers lately though.

As far as I know Keitech doesn't make ribbon tail worms. You can use one of my favorite methods of altering larger worms. Bite'em down or cut down a 7" ribbon tail to the size you want. Berkely power worms, Culprit and Zoom are all "tasty" canidates for a Bite down. The power worms have a unique flavor too!

I think these ribbon tails you are calling them are actually called curly tailed grubs.

Curly tail is like a mister twister straight worm with a curly tail

ribbon worms or snake type have a long curly tail most of the worm curls after a couple inches of straight plastic

the best was bill Norman’s snatrix

can get them anymore

fish 6 inch weightless on top around grass and pads, the bottom a snake and a frog is white, so I need solid white or pearl

3 & 4 inch black or purple ribbon tails fish just off the bottom slow constant retrieve another finesse method

Any experiences waking a small swim bait in pads?

or finesse techniques in grass and pads weed walls etc?

My favorite finesse swim bait is a 5” Kalins grub in white or smoke/pepper. I throw it on a 1/8 or 1/4 oz ball head jig. This bait has pulled me out of a bind many times. In grass I like a 1/4-3/8 swim jig in black/blue or white, sometimes white/chartreuse. Not that a swim jig is a swim bait per se but I do throw the same grub on those. I’ll sometimes throw a yum pulse in whatevershad pattern is available.
