Anyone tried the new tatula ct? Seems like the same reel just different paint job? Needing to add a couple reels and am debating one. Wife likes em cause of the braking system.  Not much available online yet. Thanks

Held it today at bass pro and it honestly seemed like the same real with a different paint job. I like the red and black more too lol. 

Haven't tried the new one, but just bought the old one for the wife. Through my research, it seemed like the new one is slightly smaller and slightly lighter than the old one. I never really found anything different other than that. Not sure why/how it's smaller or lighter.

Functionally, it's the same exact reel as the previous CT. Has different knobs and some different color schemes. That's it. 

I bought one several weeks ago and have only used it a couple hours. But from limited use I can’t tell a difference between it and my original CT. I actually prefer the I knobs though. 
 

also like so many 2020 Diawas it came dry as a bone. 

Very timely.  I have a CT100H that is 2 years old.  I was thinking about buying one of these new ones.

Just picked one up at cabelas.  Display model discounted but feels good.  Probably needs some lube kinda feels dry. I'll report back after some use but I like it just playing around with it.

Just kidding. I'm a Shimano enthusiast and have to say the tat ct has been a nice surprise performance-wise on one of my crankbait setups. As has been said, specs look pretty identical and it should be another winner just with a different look.

No power gear (5x) listed on the new ones.

I bought one because I couldn’t find a fuego. It’s a nice reel, paint job can be rather slippery at times though. Prefer that matte of the Fuegos. 

Played around with it at the creek today.  Basically what everyone has said. Same reel different paint.  Think I prefer the older grips and paint better myself.  Kinda makes me wonder why change something that was so successful.  This one is fine tho ill keep it.
