I have gotten to where I really like Lews reels and want a dedicated one for crank baits...NOT deep cranks but mainly around the KVD 1.5 size...what reel under $200 by Lews is best for this?

I absolutely love the tournament pro lfs I have a couple and just got another one.

X2 on the tournament pro lfs. The new kvd reel is sweet and so is the bb1 but sportsman's outfitters has the tournament pros for 139 new and they're hard to beat

The tournament pro lfs is very impressive, I find myself constantly reaching for it when I'm fishing, it's very smooth and super comfortable to palm. 

I love my tournament MP for $150. My $99 LFS is a real winner for the $ as well. 

Another vote for the tournament pro lfs it's a spectacular reel.

My Tournament Pro with SDS Eva knobs on the stock carbon handle.  

I'll give an edge to Super Duty G mag brake and clean spool for long casts with 3/8 oz and wind-resistant lures - in 3 years on the water, I've only had one backlash on Super Duty, and that's when I didn't notice my line was wrapped on the rod. 

But the Tournament Pro is notably lighter, an edge on spool size, and Lew's centrifugal brake is also light and great at preventing start-up backlash.  

I just Bought a Lews Custom lite from Sportsmans Outfitters for 199$ . I love my tournament pro but the custom lite is lighter and casts even further because the spool is lighter.

I throw cranks on my Lew’s Tournament MB. They don’t make that reel anymore. It’s equivalent would be the Tournament MP or the Lew’s KVD reels.

 

The KVD reels have a model with a special retrieve rate for cranks that Kevin himself requested.
