Check out the jon conversion....

Featured Replies

Started a little side business.... when I'm not fishing. Modding jons and other aluminums into bass boats. Making a couple bucks and it's fun. Just finished this one for a guy and he was thrilled. He wanted the works too..12v outlets, interior lighting, running lights, etc., etc.

If you don't mind, could you PM me with the cost of that? I'm interested in "pimping my jon" when I get it.

He said it is very stable. The front pedestal can be lowered like the back one. It cost him around 1k for materials (but he had everything --LED interior lights, cup holders, locks for the storage, on board charger, and the seats were custom made) and I charged him 1k to do the work. You could get away with $500 easy if you do all the work yourself.

3/4" ply with 2x4 and 2x10 supports underneath, sealed with 4 coats of Thompson's Water Seal. Lowe's outdoor carpet glued on top and stapled underneath. 2007 Honda Kiwi Green Dupont paint on the exterior.
