what is a good flutter spoon to try

Featured Replies

Going to try flutter spoons any advice would be helpful

 thanks

I've never tried the magnum flutter spoons and likely never will. Have had some success with the strike king flutter spoons tho. Theyre cheap enough and not such a load to throw

I like the Eppinger Big Ed Flutterchuck. In addition to a vertical presentation when I'm in my friend's boat, I shorecast it out onto the edge of sand bars and pop it up, letting it settle on semislack line.

How does it do? OK. Not bad, but not great.

   It weighs 7/8 oz.

I have had good success with Little Cleo’s in hammered nickel and blue. When shad are present its lights out. 1/3 oz on moderate fast rod.

Strike king 3“ 4” , I think they calling them KVD spoons, very nice colors and incredible action, and fair pricing is a plus. Get a golden one and a shad and it has a brownish color which I don’t know what they calling that but you’ll be good with that 3 colors. Don’t forget to ad swivels before tie the knot. Good luck.

Lake Fork Tackle Flutter Spoon 3", 4", 5", & 6"

I use the dixie jets ,both flutter and slab.no complaints at all and they have a good hook.

In the big flutter spoon I like the R2S James Watson . I like to pitch them around docks and the thing actually falls away from the pitch. Great for under walkways and boat lifts.
