Well you changed your question after you made the original post.

Just use the Met and put 20 lb Fluoro of your choice on it.

Like I said before, people are probably tired of trying to help you since you don't like the answers you get.

This is your opinion and If you feel that way, or you don't like the questions, then no need to respond.

Your reel holds 70 yards of 14 mono! About 100 yard less then needed for big swimbaits.

If you are serious about swim bait the rod, reelandkine all work together.

Shimano low profile swimbait reel is Tranx 301A 5:8.1 ratio. Line either 20 lb FC for 8” Hudds or 25 lb Armillio for both 68 and 8” or 9”.

Get a 300 size reel I use a Lews super duty wide spool for my swimbaits with 20lb mono. If you’re worried about backlashes practice more.

Cardiff 301 what I am leaning towards.

That will work.

Fill the reel with Sunline 25# Armiilo, holds 165 yard spool and good to go.

i like the zillion SV cuz it doesn’t backlash.

is there a good swimbait reel that doesn’t backlash?

Cars just don't crash, and reels just don't backlash. The driver does.

I'm starting to get the feeling that this guy is either a 12 year old trollbot, or a thankless one way street'r. I might change my mind if he posts a pic of his Zillion and Met side by side. Oh yeah, and he also claims he owns a Steez, so throw that one in too.
