BPS lithium batteries

Featured Replies

Anyone else notice that BPS has came out with a line of lithium batteries? Group 24, 27 and 31. Prices start at $499.99 with a five year warranty. I'm the first to admit that I don't know anything about lithium batteries, other than they're lighter, smaller and crazy expensive. From the outside looking in, these don't seem to bad. Am I missing something?

I saw them. I need to do a lot more research. Like why 5 year warranty when Dakota has 11 year warranty. Could be the additional cost covers the additional years.

Like I said I have some research to do.

There is another major forum site with all kinds of lithium battery information.  The filters won’t let me identify it.

Keep in mind that none of the companies offering lengthy warranties have been in business as long as the warranties they are offering.

They all won't be.

Lot's of reasons to go to lithium's but IMHO, extended warranties are not a good one.

BPS has at least been around a while.

If you look at the Dakota warranty it really not that good. I have been researching lithium batterys and It is one of the worst I have seen. I read the reviews and it seems like you need an act of God to get ahold of their customer support. Please do your research before buying lithium batterys.

The basspro batteries are a rebranded ReLion battery, a very reputable lithium battery company. Bass Pro’s prices are quite a bit higher than getting them from another dealer, but they seem to be in stock which means easy replacement.
