Weird/Spooky bass fishing stories

Featured Replies

I do have my neighbor who is very religious and will also swear on all the bibles in the world that he was attacked by bigfoot while fishing in a kayak.

That story is on this site somewhere...

Or the legendary Florida skunk ape ?

There’s some interesting folks out in ONF, probably pretty easy to get them confused with a skunk ape.

Man, don't you know it. It wasnt like that 30 years ago... I go armed in there now, or I dont go. Still havent had any issues. Except all the homeless people camping at the best spots...

I was out fishing with a buddy (was then) around a marina with larger boats. I was concentrated on not hitting boats and catching fish. You know, looking at the water. He started telling me some story of how some woman was killed there. Her decapitated body was found but never her head. He positioned our boat so that I was next to a docked boats’s cabin window where someone placed one of those heads to hold a wig with the face looking outward.  Not much room to jump in the little boat but somehow I didn’t fall out when I saw that thing.  He got me.

Years later he was out fishing and did find a dead body in the water.
