That's a nice collection. How do you find the new curado MGL? I recently picked up the SLX MGL and am very impressed with it so far, thinking of getting another mgl reel.

Hi, not sure if you're asking me where I bought it or what I think about it. If where I bought, an online store had certain Shimano reels 20% off, free ship and no tax. They also had the SLX MGL on sale. But that was just for last weekend. If you meant what I think of it, today was the first time I tried it out. It casts very good distance once dialed in. It's smoother than the other smaller Curados I have and casts a bit farther.

Hope those help with your question

Very cool.  I have the Chronarch 51e and it has always been a fun reel.   It's strange how much power they can pack in such a small reel.

Hey Fishtank, what part of Indiana do you live? I used to live round South Bend, close to Mishawaka and 15 min from the Michigan border. I so miss fishing there. So much more choices to fish lakes and rivers and catch different freshwater species.

Nice batch of reels, and the handle is on the Correct side.  ?

Hammer 4, Amen Bruddah!

Nice. That Chronarch looks brand new. Shimano had a problem with the clear coat on them. It would yellow and peel off after a lot of use. I've got a Curado 100B (same profile) with a 50 MG spool and even though it's not as compact as newer reels it's a pleasure to fish.
