Are casting jigs good for working as a swim jig and other stuff?

Featured Replies

I looked at jigs and found a casting jig I looked it up and found out it’s pretty much a hybrid jig. Will it work well with a swimbait trailer, and a swim jig mixed with other jigs?

It will definitely work it might not come through weeds as good tho.

The closer the jig hook eye is to the nose of the jig the more weedless it is. Without knowing the brand it’s difficult to how snag less the jig is, otherwise you cast any jig and retrieve it anyway you want.

As long as you don't tell it it's a casting jig it'll swim just fine!

FYI: You can cast, flip, & pitch a swim jig.
