I'll add another vote for the Daiwa Aird-X. I'm still trying to figure out how Daiwa can produce such a nice piece at a $50 price point.

Basic IM6 blank with Chinese components.  Looking at about $13-$15 there.

The specific actions and  balance of this series are probably the key to its success?

I recently purchased a Lews Pro-ti baitcasting reel, and am looking for a rod to go with it but don’t want to spend a lot of money. What are y’all’s suggestions?

I have the exact same reel and I paired it with a Lew’s TP1 Black rod. Runs $129.99 great rod and looks fantastic with the Pro TI

Cheaper than thatI would recommend:

St Croix Triumph $99

Lew’s Speed Stick $79

Falcon HD $69

Check out the Johnny Morris Carbonlite 2.0 rods for a little over $100.  I've been very impressed with my two(6'9" ML spin, 7'3" MH cast), and I've fished much more expensive rods for years.  Fuji guides, Winn grips, super light, and a good price point.

I have a Lews Mach Worm casting rod paired with a speed spool LFS and its my favorite combo. Paid $70 for the rod. I would buy another.

A lot of really nice options given.  I'd like to add the Falcon BuCoo and HD, Fenwick HMG, Berkley Lightning, Ark Lancer, iRod Fiber.  I'd give the Daiwa Procyon a god look if you don't wan to go to $100.

And if willing to go to $130, the Falcon Lowrider or Ark Tharp.

For $50 I’d go Airdx or carbon fire. Shimano sellus is good too, but the grips are too thin for my hands.

if you can stretch to the $100-120 range dobyns fury or st croix bassx would be a great one.
