Wondering what models people would suggest for a multi purpose spinning rod in both the champion and extreme rods? Looking to get one from each line of rods

    Champion: 703SF or 733SF if you like the full rear grip.  Extremes are 703 or 743SF but good luck finding stock.  Also, the Champion 733SF is made with the previous generation Xtreme blank.

    I have the Champion XP 703. I got it with cracking tubes in mind but I found it was not stout enough for really ripping the 1/2 oz plus tubes out of grass.

     

    So now I use it for everything else.  Senkos, light Texas rigs, finesse swimbaits, lighter /normal tubes, and even a heavier ned rig.
