Not Michigan(where I live). There is very little river Smallmouth fishing(that I know of) comparatively as some other states. I’d say Minnesota or NY.

My vote goes to west coast of Oregon; Columbia River, Williamete River, Umpqua River with several more rivers, streams and creeks.

Guess living where I do it would be Maine, some really good size river smallies to keep ya interested and alert.
