Tp15ha

Featured Replies

brand new reel feels like there is resistance when reelingvin line. Hard to explain but its feels choppy and not smooth.  I have an older one, same model that is smooth when reeling in. I brought it back for a new one and it does the same thing. Any ideas? Thanks.

Take it back again.

Strange though that both brand new reels would do that straight out of the box.  They took one back I'd be surprised if they took another.  Thanks

They should take it back.  Be sure to check the next reel before leaving the store.

EDIT: TP15HA or TP1SHA?  I didn't see a Lew's reel with a 5 in the model number.  There shouldn't be a problem with a reel at that price.  If there is, then the store needs to make it right.  Heck.  Store should make it right regardless of cost.  Make them give you a refund if they won't.  Plenty of good reels out there at that price or less.
