Bass Lake at Nockamixon

Featured Replies

Has anyone fished the bass lake at Nockamixon off the main marina road.  I was wondering if it was a good place to take the kids to or if I am wasting my time.  What type of stuff is in there?  Should I prepare for pan fish only?

Thanks!

Thanks guys.  This is for the main lake that is their.  I do fish that a bunch.  It is very hard to fish and not good for the kids.  The one I am talking about is more like a pond.  I didn't know if DNR maintained it and stocked it.

Are you talking about Lake Towhee?   I've never fished it but it does have bass, chain pickerel and panfish in it.  I think they may stock it with trout in the spring.  It's part of the Bucks County Park system.  I'm not sure what rules apply to non-residents of the county.  You should be able to find that information on line.
